OUR MISSION & VISION
More Than a Church
There has to be more than simply attending church.
Jesus did not call His followers to build comfortable lives centered around themselves. He called them to follow Him, deny themselves, make disciples, and proclaim the hope of the Gospel to the world.
Everything we do at The Summit flows from that calling.
Our mission is simple.
OUR MISSION
More than attending a service or joining a church, we desire for every person to encounter the life-changing power of the Gospel. Through His death, burial, and resurrection, Jesus offers forgiveness, new life, and the hope of eternity to everyone who believes.
Our greatest passion is introducing people to Jesus, helping them grow in their relationship with Him, and encouraging them to surrender every area of life to His Lordship.
"I came that they may have life and have it abundantly." — John 10:10
Build Community.
Following Jesus was never meant to be a solitary journey.
God designed His people to live in authentic biblical community where they worship together, encourage one another, pray together, study His Word, bear one another's burdens, and grow together in Christ.
We believe real life change happens when people move beyond rows on Sunday mornings and begin sharing life together throughout the week.
Our desire is to cultivate a church family where every person is known, loved, encouraged, and challenged to grow in their faith.
"And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works." — Hebrews 10:24
Live Sent.
Every follower of Jesus has been given a mission.
Whether at home, at work, in school, across the street, or around the world, every believer is called to represent Christ and make disciples.
We refuse to see the church as merely a place we attend.
Instead, we believe the Church is God's people living on mission every day.
Our desire is to faithfully serve our community, care for those in need, proclaim the Gospel, and help others discover the hope found in Jesus Christ.
"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations..." — Matthew 28:19
OUR VISION.
We envision a church where lives are transformed by the Gospel, families are strengthened by God's Word, and believers are equipped to faithfully follow Jesus Christ in every area of life.
We envision children growing up with a strong biblical foundation, students boldly living for Christ, marriages reflecting God's design, and generations worshipping together as one church family.
We envision Summit Groups meeting throughout our community, where people gather in homes to study Scripture, pray together, encourage one another, and intentionally make disciples.
We envision a church known not simply for what happens inside its building, but for faithfully serving the community through practical acts of love, compassionate outreach, and the hope of the Gospel.
We envision raising up future elders, deacons, teachers, missionaries, and ministry leaders who will faithfully shepherd God's people for generations to come.
Most of all, we envision a church where Jesus Christ is exalted, His Word is faithfully proclaimed, and disciples are continually sent to make disciples.
OUR STRATEGY
Making Disciples
Jesus never commanded His followers to build churches.
He commanded them to make disciples.
Everything we do at The Summit is built around that simple truth.
We are convinced that healthy churches are not built by programs, events, or personalities. They are built as ordinary people faithfully follow Jesus and help others do the same.
If we make disciples, Christ will build His Church. If we simply try to build a church, we may never make disciples.
This conviction shapes every ministry, every relationship, and every decision we make.
